How It Works
STEP 1:
Intake/interview time
Each session starts with an interview and evaluation of what the client needs that day. I always ask the client what they are looking for that day and also do some evaluations like checking for rage of motion and any pain or stiffness.
STEP 2:
Actual therapy
Based on the intake, I then plan the therapy for the day and start the session. The first part may be with clothing, and then the second part may be under the cover without clothing using lotion to directly manipulate muscles.
STEP 3:
Evaluation
I continually evaluate during the therapy to see how effective it is and then adjust accordingly.Â
STEP 4:
Homework
I may also suggest self care exercises they can do at home to maintain the change they receive during the session or further assist the permanent change of their condition to avoid getting the same pain again.
